D10 among proposed redistricting maps altered in response to public input

maps side by side

The Metro Council Ad Hoc Committee on Redistricting is proposing changes to the boundaries of seven districts, including District 10, in order to reflect recent public comment.

The District 10 proposed map restores Parkway Village and establishes Clarks Lane as the northern boundary between Preston and Poplar Level Road. The new boundary keeps Schnitzelburg intact to be represented by a single Council District.

Based on community input, the committee is amending the ordinance to make changes to the proposed maps for Districts 8, 10, 11, 15, 20, 21, and 25.

Metro Council intends to vote on the maps on November 11.
