With school out for the summer and the warm weather pushing
everyone outside, LMPD tends to receive an increase in calls related to ATV
activity. Many people are not aware that it is not legal to operate
all-terrain vehicles on any public highway, roadway or right-of-way of any
public highway or roadway. LMPD reminds constituents that it is against
the law to use ATV's on a public roadway in Kentucky (KRS 189.515).
