Policy Update: CCDF Full-Time and Part-Time Vouchers
Starting with Oct. 5, 2025 CCDF reauthorizations, an applicant or co-applicant may request a full-time or part-time voucher. We encourage you to speak to the families in your care about which option is best suited for their needs.
For non-school age children and school-age children when school is not in session or when care is required during non-traditional hours (nights and weekends), full-time weekly care is defined as care provided for 30 hours or at least three days or more per week. For school-age children, when school is in session, full-time weekly care is defined as 10 hours or more per week.
If a family chooses a full-time voucher and does not attend for 30 hours or at least three days or more that week, then the other days that week will be marked as absences, not off days.
If an applicant or co-applicant does not request 30 hours or at least three days or more of child care per week for non-school age or school-age other care, or 10 hours or more for school-age care, the Eligibility Office will create a part-time voucher. Part-time vouchers will be reimbursed at one-half of the full-time weekly subsidy.
If a family chooses a part-time voucher, the days that the child is not scheduled to attend will be marked as off days. These do not have to be the same days each week.
