Upcoming PeopleSoft Financials shut down
Indiana Department of Administration sent this bulletin at 11/18/2024 03:32 PM ESTGreat news! In November, technical upgrades to PeopleSoft Financials will provide a new look to the system.
Important dates to note:
Friday, November 22, at 4:00 PM EST - Monday, November 25, at 6:00 AM EST: PeopleSoft Financials will be shut down and will not be available to system users. Users will not have access or be able to input/approve transactions after this time – any urgent items must be submitted and approved prior to shut down. This outage does not affect PeopleSoft HCM.
Everything associated with PS Financials is impacted, such as:
Bidder Registration: Supplier Portal is closed for bidder registration (create or update)
Bidder Submission: Supplier Portal is closed to submit responses
Travel and Expense: Closed to create, review, approve
eSPRs/POs: Closed to create, review and approve
Queries: Closed to any reporting
Requisitions / QPAs: Closed to creating requisitions and using punch-outs
SCM: Closed to creating, reviewing, approving contracts
Tickets: IDOA Procurement’s ability to resolve tickets related to PS Fin/Supplier Portal.
What you may want to consider to manage the outage.
Time sensitive items need to be addressed in a manner that works around the scheduled outage. There will not be PS Financials ability to address needs during the outage.
Communicate with the known effected agency team members, and potential respondents, so they can plan accordingly as well.
Monday, November 25: PeopleSoft Financials homepage screens and navigations will be updated with minor changes to the home screen and search options. This update will not impact system functionality or business processes. Users may need to clear out browser cache to see the update – you may have to repeat this several times.
