The Festival of Ice was the first of two big events at The Ice at Carter Green this winter. Coming up in February, don’t miss the Carmel Winter Games featuring competitive tricycle racing, human curling and human hungry hippo. That event is scheduled for Friday, February 9 and Saturday, February 10, 2024.

American Structurepoint and the City of Carmel have earned an Honor Award from the American Council of Engineering Companies of Indiana in the 2024 Engineering Excellence Awards for the Range Line Road Corridor.

Traffic Alert
WEST MAIN STREET - UNDERWAY - This 8-week full closure of W. Main Street between Guilford Road and Old Meridian Street for installation of a new water main, has begun. During this closure, local traffic will be maintained to area businesses.

Celebrate the Earth, through art
Carmel Green Initiative would like to invite students in grades kindergarten through eighth to enter the 2024 Earth Day Art Contest. Art entries will be displayed at several community exhibits to inspire our community to live more sustainably. All entries are due by no later than 5 p.m. on February 16.

In the event of a major snow or ice storm, Republic Services Trash & Recycling service may be delayed.

Please be aware that any news broadcasts concerning trash service with Republic Services in Indianapolis or other communities may not apply to service in Carmel.
