Mayor Brainard honored by U.S. Conference of Mayors

CARMEL, IN - Mayor Jim Brainard, who has served on the U.S. Conference of Mayors (USCM) for more than two decades – including in a leadership role for the past 13 years – was honored recently, along with three other mayors who have chosen to step down as Mayor of their cities. The honor was presented at the 91st Annual Meeting of the Mayors held in Columbus, OH.
“It was an honor for me to represent the City of Carmel at the Mayors' conferences over the years. It is important for leaders to gather and share best practices and solutions for building better cities across the country. I learned a lot and enjoyed sharing the successes we have experienced in Carmel with my colleagues,” said Mayor Brainard.
Mayor Brainard has served on the USCM Executive Committee and as a Trustee since 2010.
