Happy Thanksgiving from the City of Carmel
The City of Carmel would like to wish a happy Thanksgiving to all who celebrate. We are thankful for all members of the community who help to make Carmel a place to call home.
Don't forget to Shop Carmel, Saturday
The City of Carmel's three main districts feature a unique variety of shops and restaurants. On November 27, after the rush of Black Friday, show some love to our many local businesses at Shop Carmel sponsored by Allied Solutions.
Wishing a happy Hanukkah
Hanukkah greetings to those who celebrate! The City of Carmel extends its wishes for a meaningful celebration.
Please join the Carmel Jewish community on Wednesday, December 1 at 6 p.m. at the Winter Pavilion at the Christkindlmarkt for the lighting of the Menorah and a celebration with music and food in this holiday's spirit.
This year, Hanukkah will begin on the evening of Sunday, November 28 and will end on the evening of Monday, December 6.

The Christkindlmarkt has officially been nominated for the USA TODAY 10Best Readers' Choice Awards for Best Holiday Market. Vote one time per day until December 6; the winner will be announced December 17.

Special Holiday Hours: Wednesday, November 24: noon - 9 p.m. Closed Thanksgiving Day Open remainder of the holiday weekend at regular hours
Regular Hours of Operation: Wednesday - Thursday: 4 - 9 p.m. Friday, Saturday and Sunday: noon - 9 p.m.

Plan Commission reminds residents to send feedback on draft Comprehensive Plan
The proposed Comprehensive Plan update for the City of Carmel, is now being reviewed by the Carmel Plan Commission. If you'd like to see the draft, it is available at CarmelComprehensivePlan.com.
Upcoming meetings of the Comprehensive Plan Review Committee:
- Monday, November 29, 6 p.m.
- Tuesday, November 30, 6 p.m.
- Tuesday, December 7, 6 p.m.
Meetings to be held in Carmel City Hall and broadcast on the City's website, Facebook page and YouTube channel.
Trash and recycling holiday service - one day delay

Thanksgiving Day, Thursday, November 25
Please note that residential trash and recycling on a Thursday service day will be picked up on Friday. Friday's service area will be picked up on Saturday.

Movies at Midtown Saturdays through December
Head to Midtown Plaza for Allied Solutions' Movies at Midtown! Movies will run on Saturdays through December. Show times are noon, 3 and 6 p.m. Times are subject to change as we will also show occasional college football games through the end of the regular season.
November 27 - Shrek There will be a showing at 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. this Saturday.
Hand sanitizer stations are still available throughout Midtown Plaza and please don't forget to clean up your surroundings once you've enjoyed the movie. Be sure to follow Midtown Plaza's Facebook page for all events.

Comprehensive Plan Review Committee - Monday, November 29, 6 p.m. Board of Public Works Meeting - Wednesday, December 1, 10 a.m.
All public meetings take place in the Council Chamber's in City Hall, unless otherwise indicated. Public meetings are broadcast live on the City's website, Facebook page and YouTube channel.
