Aggravated Battery PPD Incident #26- 31173
(PEORIA, IL) On Thursday, May 21, 2026, at approximately 4:54 a.m., officers with the Peoria Police Department responded to a local hospital regarding a report of a stabbing victim who had arrived by private vehicle.
Upon arrival, officers made contact with a 32-year-old male suffering from a non-life-threatening stab wound.
Officers initiated an investigation into the incident and responded to the reported location where the stabbing was believed to have occurred. A search of the area was conducted; however, no suspects were located at that time.
At approximately 9:40 a.m., on 5/21/26, Peoria detectives located a female suspect connected to the incident in the 1600 block of W. Lincoln Avenue.
The suspect, identified as 45-year-old Gloria J. Behm, was transported to the Peoria Police Department for questioning.
Following the interview, Behm was arrested for Aggravated Battery as well as multiple active warrants. She was subsequently transported to the Peoria County Jail.
