Due to underground work by ComEd, the east side of Harvey Road will be restricted to one lane south of Wolfs Crossing to Ellis Road from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. each day beginning Feb. 23 for approximately three weeks.
Early voting continues until Feb. 27 at the Kendall County Office Building. Residents are encouraged to check their precinct number and polling place online before election day. Visit the Kendall County Clerk's election website or call 630-553-4105.
Fun for the whole family
Stop by the Village's booth at the Oswego Hometown Expo on Saturday, February 25 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Oswego High School.
Presented by the Oswego Area Chamber of Commerce, this free event showcases area businesses and other local organizations. Activities include a community art show, drive-through Shred & Recycle from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., as well as giveaways and prizes for all ages.
Registration is now open for the St. Patrick's Day Drive Around Scavenger Hunt on Sunday, March 12 from 2 until 4 p.m. Tour the town while you solve clues, hunt for shamrocks, learn more about our community and win some great prizes.
Dress up, decorate your car, and get ready for some “sham-rocking” fun at this family-friendly event! Learn more and register now. Plus, net proceeds benefit the Kendall County Food Pantry.
Coffee, treats and Q&A
Village President Troy Parlier will give a recap of the State of Village at Coffee and Conversations for Seniors on Saturday, March 4. The event will be hosted at the Oswego Police Department, 3355 Woolley Road and features coffee and treats at 8:30 a.m. and program at 9 a.m.
In addition to President Parlier's presentation, Police Chief Jeff Burgner will give an update on public safety.
