Looking back at 2022 and what's new for 2023

Join Village President Troy Parlier and the Oswego Area Chamber of Commerce for the State of the Village Address at 4 p.m. on Thursday, February 23 at Classic Cinemas Kendall 11 to recap what we happened in Oswego in 2022 and preview all the exciting things coming this year. Presidents Day

Village Hall will be closed in honor of Presidents Day on Monday, February 20. Waste and recycling collection is not affected by the holiday.

Fun for the whole family

We can't wait for this year's Oswego Hometown Expo presented by the Oswego Area Chamber of Commerce on Saturday, February 25 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Oswego High School. Come check out the helpful services that area businesses and organizations offer and pick up some fun giveaways and prizes for the kids! Start your spring cleaning early and purge your old documents and electronics at the drive-through Shred & Recycle 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Expo. Plus, you can safely dispose of unwanted medicines at the event. Get more details about this free community event and plan your visit now.

Spring senior coffee

Senior citizens are invited to join Village President Troy Parlier at the Coffee and Conversations for Seniors event on Saturday, March 4 at the Oswego Police Department, 3355 Woolley Road. Coffee and treats will be served at 8:30 a.m. and the program begins at 9 a.m. This special Coffee & Conversations will feature a recap of the State of the Village and an update on public safety from Police Chief Jeff Burgner. RSVP by noon on Friday, March 3 to Pam Knox by email or call 630-551-2347. The event is sponsored by Rose Terrace Senior Apartments.
