Fourth Ward Meeting: What’s YOUR vision for Evanston in 2045?
Hello again Fourth Ward friends and neighbors,
A quick reminder about our special Fourth Ward meeting tomorrow, June 3.
Please join me for an update on the Envision Evanston 2045 initiative including the latest draft of the comprehensive plan presented by Liz Williams, City of Evanston Planning Manager, followed by a World Café session to discuss the question:
“What’s your vision for Evanston in 2045?”
These structured yet informal discussions are designed to foster interactive dialogue. The goal is not to change anyone's mind, but to permit each participant to express their perspectives and to listen to and engage with fellow residents whose views may differ from their own. Thanks to the League of Women Voters for facilitating.
Meeting details
- Tuesday, June 3
- Robert Crown Community Center, Room B/C
- 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
-
Online: (first part of the meeting only—unfortunately we don’t have the mojo to manage the World Café virtually)
If the prospect of community dialogue doesn’t thrill you enough, maybe free snacks can entice you. We’ll have yummy treats from Button Bakery, now open on Main Street!
To help ensure we have adequate resources, please let me know if you’re planning to attend by RSVPing here.
Hope to see you tomorrow!
