Share your input with Pace
Pace is seeking public input on proposed service changes resulting from the North Shore Transit Service Coordination Plan and Market Analysis at an open meeting on Tues. Feb. 11, 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Levy Senior Center. These proposed changes would be implemented in August 2020, and include changes to several routes, some of which impact Evanston. Written comments can also be submitted at PaceBus.com through February 18 using the Public Hearing Comment Form.

Holiday cleanup continues through Jan. 31
Light recycling: String lighting and extension cords can be dropped off for recycling at the Levy Senior Center, Evanston Public Library, and Evanston Ecology Center through January 31!
Tree recycling: City crews will pick up Christmas trees through January 31 on residents' normal refuse collection day. Please place trees on the parkway, in between the sidewalk and curb, and remove all lights and decorations. Do not place trees in plastic bags.

Applications are now being accepted for the spring 2020 Citizen Police Academy. The program meets on Wednesday evenings, 7 p.m. to 9:30 p.m., from February 26 through May 20.
