Water Pumping Station Tour

Community members are invited to join 5th Ward Alderman Robin Rue Simmons and City staff for a tour of one of the City's water pumping stations at 2520 Gross Point Road. The tour will take place on Thursday, March 8, at 5:30 p.m.

Residents will get to see and hear how the pumping station operates and ask questions.  A new water pumping station to supply the Village of Niles and Morton Grove is currently proposed for 2525 Church St. In addition to the pumping station, the proposed site also includes plans for a splash pad, picnic shelter and restroom facilities as part of an expansion of Beck Park.

To access the site residents must enter into the entrance for Alden Estates at 2520 Gross Point Road and then continue going west to where the large blue water tower is located.
