2nd Ward Header

Greetings!

Dear Friends,

On behalf of Mayor Elizabeth Tisdahl, 5th Ward Alderman Delores Holmes (who was unable to attend the meeting due to medical leave) and myself, I want to thank everyone who attended the Smith Park Neighborhood meeting at Gibbs-Morrison on Thursday in response to the recent crime activity.

Evanston Police Department (EPD) personnel provided an update, our outreach team shared ongoing efforts to reduce violence in our City, more importantly we listened to the concerns of residents. There will be a follow-up meeting in the next 30 days with the EPD regarding the ongoing public safety efforts in our neighborhood.

Please join me on Monday, June 27 at 5 p.m., for the EPD roll call at Lyons and Ashland. It is an opportunity for you to interact with the officers responsible for patrolling your neighborhood.

Please share this information! My goal is to keep all neighbors in our ward informed about upcoming events and opportunities they can benefit from. If you have any questions, concerns or comments, please feel free to contact me directly at pbraithwaite@cityofevanston.org, or 847-801-9386.
