2023 Street Improvements - Project Update 10/13/2023

This week, the contractor paved the first layer of asphalt pavement on Wolf Road. They also removed and replaced 2” of asphalt pavement on Tracy Terrace. Also this week, areas of concrete work were restored with sod. All other work was rained out. On Monday, October 16, the contractor plans to pave on Kingston, Southeast, King, and Washington. They will also perform pavement patching on Ballard, Lee, and Washington at Wolf. Manholes in pavement on Wolf will be adjusted to the proper elevation, and the final layer of asphalt pavement will be paved on Wolf later next week, weather permitting. Pavement striping, installation of raised reflective pavement markers, and landscape restoration on Wolf will soon follow.

The following streets are scheduled for 3" road resurfacing, along with crosswalk improvements to comply with the Americans with Disabilities Act. Other miscellaneous concrete repairs may occur on these streets as well. Locations may be added or subtracted from this list due to changes in available funding. Landscape restoration with topsoil and sod is yet to be completed.
