Submit Your Special Census job application at the 2026 Special Census Job Fair!
Join City of Aurora officials on Saturday, June 6, at the Aurora Public Works Facility (2185 Liberty St., Aurora, IL 60502) for a Special Census Job Fair!
From 9 A.M. to 12 P.M., City staff will be on hand with computers and iPads to help you fill out your application to work for the 2026 Aurora Special Census!

Gear up for SMART Cycling with the Aurora Bicycle, Pedestrian, and Transit Advisory Board.
Start with a required 90-minute online course to prep for the in-person session – a 3-4 hour ride, plus an on-street/on-trail ride through Aurora. The session will include parking lot drills and a chance to ride through Aurora’s streets and trails.
The in-person ride will take place tomorrow, Saturday, May 30 at 1 P.M. at the City of Aurora’s Public Works facility! Spots are limited, so sign up now!

The City of Aurora’s Veterans Advisory Council is seeking to fill multiple vacancies!
Joining the Council helps to aid in the planning, development, and implementation of veteran-related special activities and programs in the City.
 Join the Aurora Regional Economic Alliance on Thursday, June 25 from 11 A.M. to 1:30 P.M. at Waubonsee Community College (18 S. River Street) for the 2026 Aurora Alliace Legislative Luncheon!
