County Line Fire - Update

(Plummer) - The fire rapidly grew to over 150 acres in size and is threatening structures. Evacuation notices of GET SET and GO NOW were issued by the Kootenai County Office of Emergency Management in the areas of W County Line Road, Bronco Road, S Senkler Road, and W Chatcolet Road. Please see their Facebook page at www.facebook.com/kootenaiOEM for more current information on evacuations.

Most resources that were on the Mowry Fire nearby were pulled to attack this fire when it started. This includes several fire engines, a water tender, 2 bull dozers, and a crew. Another crew is on its way. Aircraft working this fire include an Air Attack, 3 large air tankers, 3 single engine water scoopers, and 2 helicopters.
