Hello North Port neighbors,
Thank you to everyone who has already taken the time to participate in the City Identity Refresh. To date, more than 900 residents have shared their perspectives on the proposed logo options, and we truly appreciate the level of engagement and passion shown for our City.
The survey is open until 5 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 30, and we would like to invite those of you who have not participated yet to provide your input.
Ways to participate:
-
Online: Complete the survey at NorthPortFL.gov/LogoVote
-
In person:
- North Port City Hall
- North Port Area Chamber of Commerce
All feedback will be compiled and presented to the City Commission alongside updated messaging and tagline options discussed at the Jan. 5 workshop. The Commission is scheduled to consider final adoption of the logo, taglines and visual identity on Feb. 10.
Why your feedback matters
As the survey remains open, we want to take a moment to share a few important reminders about how feedback is most helpful and impactful.
The logo options presented were thoughtfully developed in house by a highly skilled professional designer. This was part of a broader, research-driven process guided by extensive community input. Behind every design are real people who care deeply about this work and about North Port.
We are committed to reviewing all feedback received, and we've been transparent throughout the process (you can view all content, discussions and commission meetings for background information here: NorthPortFL.gov/Refresh).
To ensure your voice can meaningfully inform the final decision, we encourage comments that explain why you like or dislike a design and, where possible, offer specific suggestions or considerations. Constructive feedback helps the City Commission better understand community preferences and identify actionable insights. As always, we ask that feedback be shared respectfully. Thoughtful, specific input allows for productive dialogue and helps move our community forward together.
We’re also committed to being fiscally responsible with taxpayer dollars. The refresh and rollout of a new logo will be strategic and purposeful, beginning with free updates to digital platforms and web content and replacing physical items only as they need to be replaced or re-ordered.
This brand refresh is about more than a logo, it’s about how North Port represents itself today and into the future. We value your participation and thank you for helping shape that story in a constructive and meaningful way.
Warm regards,
The City of North Port Communications Division
