With Colorado's requirement for digital accessibility, you might be tempted to explore third party “overlay” widgets that can be installed on your website. These types of tools claim to make any website accessible, but they can often make accessibility worse by interfering with assistive technology; thereby, increasing the potential for liability, despite their claims to the contrary.
For genuine accessibility, it's always best to incorporate accessible best practices into your content, design, or technical project from the very beginning.
