Planning and Zoning Commission Vacancy
The Planning and Zoning Commission is seeking a resident of Dillon to fill an open commissioner position. The Planning and Zoning Commission reviews certain development applications in a public hearing setting, which offers the public a chance to comment on large development projects. These projects include commercial buildings, property rezoning, subdivisions, re-subdivisions of lots, communication towers, permanent signage on the buildings and planned unit developments.
The Planning and Zoning Commission regularly meets the first Wednesday of each month at 5:30 pm. at Town Hall, 275 Lake Dillon Dr, in the Council Chambers.
Public Comment
We encourage citizens to attend meetings in person to express comments either during public comment, which occurs shortly after the meeting begins, or at a public hearing.
Public comment may also be submitted electronically. Public comment must be submitted by 1 p.m. on meeting days. Although they will not be read during the hearing, comments will be provided to the reviewing body and so entered into the record as evidence for the public hearing or citizen comments.
