On the form, enter your name, choose whether you will speak in person or by phone, and select the agenda item(s) you want to comment on. If you choose to speak by phone, be sure to provide a valid phone number so we can identify your call. You will also be asked to say whether you support, oppose, or are neutral on the item. After submitting the form, you will receive a confirmation email. If you need the website in another language, click the “Translate” button at the top of the page. If you need accommodations, please contact us at least three days before the meeting by calling 619‑531‑5434 (TTY 619‑531‑4803) or emailing PublicComment@sdcounty.ca.gov. If you need a sign language interpreter, call 619‑531‑4908. Assistive Listening Devices are available from the Clerk of the Board’s Office in Room 403.
Please submit accommodation requests at least 72 hours before the meeting when possible.
Interpretation Services:
A Spanish interpreter is available at every Board meeting for those wishing to speak to the Board in Spanish. If you need interpretation in another language, please request it at least 72 hours before the meeting by calling 619‑531‑5434 or emailing PublicComment@sdcounty.ca.gov. The County can also provide space in the Board Chamber’s Observation Balcony for interpreters or for the use of personal devices such as phones or headsets. We can also help connect you with outside interpretation services. Please contact the Clerk of the Board ahead of time so arrangements can be made. Interpretation must not interrupt the meeting, as required by Government Code Section 54957.95.
