COVID-19 PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT

Due to the Coronavirus disease (COVID-19) public health emergency, the County of San Diego is making several changes related to Board of Supervisors meetings to protect the public's health and prevent the disease from spreading locally.

California Governor Gavin Newsom issued Executive Order N-29-20 on March 17, 2020, relating to the convening of public meetings in response to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Pursuant to the Executive Order, and to maintain the orderly conduct of the meeting, the County of San Diego will allow the Board of Supervisors to attend the meeting via teleconference or phone conference and to participate in the meeting to the same extent as if they were present.

Remote Viewing/Listening
Members of the public who wish to watch the meeting, are encouraged to view it live online or on television. Board of Supervisors meetings are broadcast live on the County News Center via the following channels: Cox Ch. 24 (South) or Ch. 19 (North); Spectrum Ch. 24 or Ch. 85; and AT&T U-Verse Ch. 99., and online.

Additionally, you may listen to the live Board meeting while in session. Simply dial (619) 531-4716 to listen to the live meeting while business is being conducted.

Written Comment
Members of the public may submit written comments on any matter within the Board’s subject matter jurisdiction, regardless of whether the matter is on the agenda for Board consideration or action. Comments will be entered into the administrative record of the meeting.

In lieu of in-person attendance, members of the public are strongly encouraged to submit their comments on agenda and non-agenda items using the eComment service or via e-mail at publiccomment@sdcounty.ca.gov. All comments submitted through the eComment service are sent to the members of the Board of Supervisors and the Chief Administrative Officer for their consideration. Comments will be accepted until the start of the meeting (e.g. 9 a.m., unless otherwise noted).

Non-agenda public comments that are submitted via eComment or e-mail, will be read into the record at the Board Meeting. Public comments on agenda items will be available to view online and the number of comments will be stated during the meeting.

In Person Participation Prohibited
Due to the Coronavirus disease (COVID-19) public health emergency, including the order by the State of California public health officials for anyone living in the state to stay home, in person participation at Board of Supervisors meetings will not be allowed.

Public Testimony via Teleconference
Members of the public may participate in the meeting via a teleconference. If you wish to participate through teleconference, please follow the
