Shining in Our Community
Cadet Recognition Dinner - Salinas Police Department
On March 8th, the Salinas Police Department came together to celebrate the exceptional dedication of the Salinas Police Cadets at the Cadet Recognition Dinner. This talented group of young men and women, aged 14-21, has already dedicated over 1,300 hours of service to the community. Recently transitioning from the Explorer Program to a more formalized Cadet Program, these cadets are proving their commitment and passion for making a difference.
A highlight of the evening was the recognition of Andrew Carrillo, who received the Outstanding Cadet of the Year award. With six years in the program and over 3,000 hours of service, Andrew's leadership as Cadet Commander has been a shining example of dedication and honor.
The evening also highlighted the invaluable contributions of Kevin Low, a longtime unpaid volunteer whose unwavering support has been instrumental in shaping and strengthening the program over the years.
The event was a heartfelt reminder of the incredible impact these cadets and volunteers have on making Salinas a better place for everyone. Their commitment is truly inspiring!
