Meetings are held in the Council Chambers at City Hall, located at 303 E. B Street. Meetings are broadcasted LIVE on OntarioTV and our local cable Channel 3.

Parking Enforcement Begins This Month
 To enhance our streets and protect the community, the City of Ontario is implementing new street sweeping parking restrictions. This program is vital to prevent flooding, safeguard our stormwater systems, and maintain clean streets. Signs have been posted throughout residential areas, and enforcement of the new restrictions will begin this month.

Spring Yard Sale Weekend
 The next citywide yard (garage) sale weekend is Friday, May 2, 2025, through Sunday, May 4, 2025. If rainy conditions exist on that Friday or Saturday, an alternate yard sale may be held on May 9, 10, and 11, 2025. Yard sales are permitted city-wide between the hours of 7 AM and 6 PM.

Ontario residents, it’s time to show our spaces and neighborhoods some love by cleaning up and discarding junk. Let’s make a difference together and create a cleaner, healthier environment.
Feel free to bring old furniture, appliances, carpet, green waste, lumber, mattresses, passenger car tires, and scrap metal. This event is free for Ontario residents; proof of residency will be required. For more information, visit: OntarioCA.gov

Housing Services
 City support for our community experiencing homelessness is expanding! The Housing Services department is excited to share our vision for the new Ontario Wellness Campus. Sponsored by the resident approved sales tax increase, Measure Q, this project will serve as Ontario’s commitment to addressing the critical need for transitional housing while prioritizing safety and fostering a sense of community among our residents.

Animal Resources Center of the Inland Empire
 Starting on Tuesday, July 1, 2025, the Animal Resource Center of the Inland Empire (ARC), will be the new animal services agency for Ontario, Chino, Montclair, and West San Bernardino Unincorporated areas. ARC will offer sheltering, animal services, licensing, pet adoption, community education, and volunteer/foster opportunities. ARC will not have the ability to offer spay and neuter or other veterinary services to the public from its temporary location but looks forward to expanding its services in the future in their permanent facility.

Holiday Closure
 All City Facilities will be closed on Monday, May 26, in observance of Memorial Day. We will resume regular business hours on Tuesday, May 27.
In addition, refuse and recycling collection will be provided one day later than your normal pickup day for the remainder of the week. 🗑️♻️ Police and Fire services will remain available 24/7.
