Pickleball Study Community Meeting |

The City of Mountain View is hosting a Pickleball Study community meeting where staff will provide an update on the Pickleball Study and present conceptual designs for three potential locations (Cuesta Park, Cuesta Park Annex, and the future San Rafael Park site) and gather public input. In addition, the City will share some high-level information about active discussions that are underway with private property owners to possibly locate public pickleball courts on their property.
Wednesday, Aug. 27 6:30 p.m. Mountain View Community Center, 201 S. Rengstorff Ave.
The meeting will be held in Redwood Hall at the Community Center.
Later this year, there will be additional community engagement before staff presents the feasibility study findings, community feedback, and recommendation to the City Council for direction on next steps.

Take the Downtown Precise Plan Visioning Survey |

The City of Mountain View is seeking input from the public through the Downtown Precise Plan Visioning Survey. Results from the survey, along with feedback from community meetings and workshops, will help the City understand the community’s thoughts and ideas on the characteristics that make Downtown unique and special, as well as the specific improvements that may be needed to ensure that Downtown remains the heart of Mountain View.

Historic Preservation Ordinance and Historic Update Community Meeting |

The City of Mountain View is hosting a Historic Preservation Ordinance and Historic Update community meeting on Wednesday, Sept. 3, at 6:30 p.m. in the Redwood Room at the Mountain View Community Center, 201 S. Rengstorff Ave.
The City has been conducting research and analysis to update its Historic Preservation Ordinance, which sets requirements, processes, and incentives for the designation and review of alterations to historic resources, and the Historic Register, which is the list of historic resources that have been formally evaluated and identified as having historical significance.

"Music on Castro" Continues Downtown |

Music on Castro continues every Wednesday as singers and songwriters perform live music on the 200 block of Castro Street. The community is invited to come out to enjoy the free entertainment while shopping and dining Downtown.
