Explore the connection between nature and wellness with Canopy! Begin with a 30-minute interactive presentation on how the natural world supports our health, then join an arborist on a 30-minute walk through Rengstorff Park to learn more about the trees around us.

Dental Knowledge and Home Care Aids with Foothill College
Friday, May 16 at 1 p.m.
Come join us to explore dental health, including bone health and cavity formation. As well as various over-the-counter tools that can aid in dental care, such as electric toothbrushes, gum stimulators, denture cleaner tablets, denture brushes, end-tuft brushes, flossers, and more.

The City’s Aquatics Coordinator welcomes you all to a First Aid Basics Workshop! This hands-on session will teach you essential first aid skills, from handling minor injuries to responding in an emergency. Senior Resource Fair Tuesday, May 6 3 - 6 p.m.
Our annual Senior Resource Fair aims to connect the community with a wide range of resources for the aging demographic. This event will have 40+ vendors, educational workshops, raffle and more. All ages are welcome and encouraged to attend this free event! For further information, visit MountainView.gov/SeniorResourceFair.
Limited parking is available at the Senior Center and Mountain View Community Center. We encourage you to walk, bike, or use public transit.

Indoor Dining
The Community Services Agency’s Senior Nutrition Program offers dine-in meals in the Social Hall of the Mountain View Senior Center. Doors open at 10:30 a.m., sign-in starts at 11 a.m., and lunch is served from 11:45 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. The Social Hall closes at 1 p.m. A $3 donation is suggested for permanent residents 60+ of Santa Clara County.
Lunch service is first come, first served and availability is not guaranteed.

Movies are shown on Tuesdays and Fridays at 1 p.m. and on Wednesdays at 5:30 p.m. Join us for a screening in Multipurpose Room B.
Please note: Seating is limited to 36, and spots are available on a first come, first serve basis. When available, captions are provided.
Also, remember to dress warmly or bring a lap blanket, as the room tends to be on the cooler side.

Senior Adult Legal Assistance (SALA) offers free legal services at the Senior Center on the first Wednesday of each month from 10 a.m. – 12 p.m. for Santa Clara County residents aged 60 or older. Pre-registration is required, and space is limited.

Free Grocery pick-up is the first through fourth Tuesday of each month, 8:30 - 10 a.m. Pre-registration is required. For more information, visit the Front Desk or stop by during program hours. Operated by the Second Harvest Food Bank.

Free blood pressure screenings are offered by a volunteer registered nurse on the second and fourth Fridays of each month from 11:30 a.m. - 12 p.m. in Multipurpose Room A. No registration required.

Health Insurance Counseling and Advocacy Program (HICAP) appointments are available at the Senior Center on the second Tuesday of each month from 8:30 - 10:30 a.m. A volunteer counselor can assist with your health care options and rights. Pre-registration required, and space is limited.

Having trouble with your iPad or iPhone? Schedule a 30 minute appointment with a volunteer, available Thursdays from 10 a.m. - 12 p.m. in the Lobby, to get your questions answered. Pre-registration is required.

Post-season tax appointments will take place on the second Wednesday of each month from 8:30 a.m. – 12 p.m. in the Meeting Room during the months of May – October. These appointments are intended for patrons who need to file late 2024 tax returns, submit prior year or amended returns, or to get help interpreting letter from the IRS or CA Franchise Tax Board.
