Pathways Home Health and Hospice

An overview of health care services offered by Pathways will be hosted by Mary Pat Larsen, RN, BSN, Executive Director of Pathways. Learn About Pathway’s 45 years of experience at the forefront of delivering home healthcare. Pathways offers a continuum of services around the clock for patients recovering from an injury or illness (home health), managing a chronic disease (hospice), or in need of Bereavement Counseling services. This workshop covers important life-saving vehicle safety technology for mature drivers that are in the market for a new car or who have recently purchased a new vehicle. Learn about: Topics covered include Automatic Emergency Braking, Blind Spot Warnings, Drowsy Driver Alerts, and more. Low Water Lawn Alternatives
Thursday, Sept. 28
Social Hall, 1 p.m.
Are you thinking about taking out your lawn and don’t quite know what to do next? Would you like to use less water but still yearn for that patch of green? Are you tired of mowing and fertilizing? There are lawn alternatives that use 50-60% less water than a traditional lawn but can still provide you with that spot of green. Learn how with Master Gardener Martha Carpenter. She will show you examples of some of these unique grasses and ground covers and discuss how you would use of them in your yard. Sun, shade, and water requirements will be discussed as well as irrigation and soil preparation. Please sign-up in advance.

Fall Dance

Indoor Dining
Community Services Agency's Senior Nutrition Program has a full dine in meal service in the Social Hall of the Mountain View Senior Center. Doors open at 10:30 a.m. Sign in will begin at 11 a.m. Lunch will be served first come, first served from 11:45 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. The Social Hall will close at 1 p.m.

Movies are on Tuesdays and Fridays at 1 p.m.
Come to one of our movie showings in Multipurpose Room B.
Maximum seating for movies is 36. First come, first serve.
When available, screenings have captions for the hard-of-hearing. There is no fee to enjoy these popular movies and seating begins 30 minutes before the show.
NOTE: Please bundle up or bring a lap blanket with you to the movie. The room tends to be on the cooler side.
