City Kicks Off Parks and Recreation Strategic Plan Process |
|
Approximately 200 community members joined the City of Mountain View on Aug. 21 and 22 to imagine the future of Mountain View parks and recreation. The City held four public meetings to kick off the development of the Parks and Recreation Strategic Plan, which will guide the future of the City’s park and open space, facilities and recreation programming.
Those who missed the meetings will still have the opportunity to have their voices heard. Multiple community surveys will be held in the near future. In addition to seeking community input through these multiple touchpoints, City staff and its consultant will be assessing City parks and programs and researching best practices.
For more information on the project, to participate in the process and to sign up for project notifications, visit ImagineMVParks.com.
