In 2026 talking trash is out, and talking compost is in. Whether you just started separating your food scraps, or if you've been using compost for years to help your plants grow, the California Association of Compost Producers wants to reward you for spreading the good word. Post a video of any length to your choice of social media, and then send us a link by February 15. Winners will be announced by March 15, and the top three get a cash prize! The one important part? Let us know why you care about compost - and why keeping trash out of the compost is a very good thing. Any questions can be directed to info@healthysoil.org
