Plastic Pollution Prevention and Packaging Producer Responsibility Act Advisory Board Meeting

On September 19, 2025, CalRecycle will host the Advisory Board meeting for the implementation of the Plastic Pollution Prevention and Packaging Producer Responsibility Act (the Act; Senate Bill 54, Allen, Chapter 75, Statutes of 2022). During this meeting, the Advisory Board will discuss:
- Proposed regulations and provide comments
- The California Plastic Pollution Mitigation Fund and Advisory Board’s role in advising on the next steps.
And get updates on the following:
- Producer Responsibility Organization - Circular Action Alliance
- HF&H’s Preliminary Findings and Results from Collection, Processing, and End Markets Needs Assessment Study.
