California Volunteers, Office of the Governor is excited to announce that the host partner application is open for the 2025-26 California Climate Action Corps Fellowship!
This fall, 400 full-time fellows will start an 11-month term of service (September 15, 2025, to August 14, 2026).
Fellows will mobilize their communities through climate volunteer engagement, climate action and education service projects focused on urban greening, organic waste and edible food recovery and wildfire resiliency.
Public agencies, Tribes, nonprofits and educational institutions throughout the state may apply to become host partners and receive fellows to support their community climate engagement and action while mentoring emerging climate leaders. There is no matching cost required.
Applications will be accepted until Friday, February 14, 2025. Informational sessions to learn more about applying to become a host partner will be held on Monday, January 27, from 3 to 4:30 p.m. and Wednesday, January 29, from 1 to 2:30 p.m.
