Detectives with the Fontana Police Department's Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force discovered a suspect was downloading and distributing child pornography over the internet. The investigation led Detectives to the 1400 Block of Diamond Court in the City of Redlands. A search warrant was served at the suspect residence with the assistance of the Fontana Police Department Fugitive Apprehension Team. The suspect who was engaged in the downloading and distribution of the child pornography was identified as Joel Matthew Fantazia. Further investigation revealed Fantazia was in possession of in excess of 70 child pornographic videos, some of which included prepubescent children engaged in sadomasochistic situations. Detectives recovered multiple electronic devices from the residence. Fantazia was booked at West Valley Detention Center for possession and distribution of child pornography.
