2026 Election Administration Plan
Community Feedback Sought
This week, L.A. County published the 2026 Draft Election Administration Plan (EAP) and released the schedule of upcoming public hearings. They are seeking community feedback on the plan.
What is the EAP?
The EAP outlines how L.A. County administers elections under the California Voter’s Choice Act. It explains how voting options are expanded, accessible, and secure — allowing all voters to participate in a way that works best for them.
The plan also describes:
- How Vote Center and Ballot Drop Boxes are identified and selected.
- Accessibility and language assistance services.
- Voter education and outreach efforts to ensure that every community has the information and resources needed to participate.
The Draft EAP is updated regularly and shaped by input from community members, advocacy groups, and election experts. Below are links to the draft plan, the public hearing schedule, and public comment form.
