Yesterday, 4/15/2022 at 2pm, Belmont Police Officers responded to the 2100 block of Valerga Drive on the report of a shooting that just occurred. Officers responded immediately and confirmed a shooting had taken place on the street. Belmont Officers, Detectives and Crime Scene Technicians scoured the area for evidence and witnesses.
Although no suspects or victims were located, investigators were able to determine this was an isolated event between at least 2 individuals or groups of people. The case is still under investigation and Belmont Detectives are seeking any information including tips, video surveillance or photos that may lead to the identification of the person(s) responsible for this shooting.
