Fort Smith Police Arrest Man for Indecent Exposure at Locations Across Fort Smith

Fort Smith, AR — The Fort Smith Police Department has arrested a Fort Smith man following an investigation into multiple incidents reported at several locations across the city on June 4, 2026.

Throughout the day, officers received multiple complaints involving a subject later identified as 32-year-old Colby Cole. Witnesses reported concerning and suspicious behavior at several locations, prompting an investigation showing that Cole had exposed himself to multiple individuals and engaged in other unlawful conduct.

As a result of the investigation, warrants were obtained for Cole's arrest. He was taken into custody on June 4 and is charged with two counts of indecent exposure, as well as harassment, criminal trespass, and a petition to revoke.

The Fort Smith Police Department would like to thank the witnesses, businesses, and community members who promptly reported suspicious activity and provided information to investigators.
