As a part of its work on improving the access at I-59 and Chalkville Mtn. Road, ALDOT will close the southbound ramps on July 20th to start the next phase of construction. If you are not signed up for ALGO traffic alerts you can do so here.

Floyd Bradford Rd will be closed just north of Amber Hills Rd starting on Monday, July 7th, 2025 until Saturday, July 12th, 2025 to allow for culvert repair work. We appreciate your patience during this time. This is the suggested detour.
Join the Cahaba Riverkeeper on July 12 from 9 am – 4 pm for a fun-filled day of paddling and helping to clean up our rivers! This year, we’re offering two different routes, so please bring your boat if you have one, as there are a limited number of boats available. Pre-registration is required; sign up today! The Jefferson County Commission is teaming up with the Cahaba Riverkeeper for this event to ensure that the collected items are disposed of properly.
