Please note the following temporary road closures to allow CSX to do work on railroad crossings:

- Elm St - Tuesday, April 8
- McCormack Dr - Tuesday, April 8
- Shannon Oxmoor Rd - the week of April 14

Sardis Road will be closed from 1232 Sardis Rd to 1255 Sardis Rd on Monday, April 7 - Thursday, April 10, 2025, to allow for roadway drainage work by County forces. We appreciate your patience with this temporary closure. Please see the suggested detour.

Did you know at our first Electronics event at the Birmingham Zoo we experienced unprecedented participation:
- 800 vehicles processed in 2.5 hours
- 40,000 pounds of electronic waste
- 17,000 pounds of paper that was shredded on-site
