The Bell Hill Road project is in its final phase. While there have been some unexpected challenges, those have not impacted the overall project timeline. The sanitary sewer service laterals for local businesses are being completed, the asphalt work at the Eastern Valley Road end of Letson Farms Parkway is complete with permanent striping set to be placed in the coming weeks.
Currently the contractor is focused on finalizing asphalt throughout New Bell Hill Road, including the roundabout at the Lou George Loop tie-in. To facilitate the construction of a retaining wall and the Holiday Inn's access tie-in extension, traffic pattern shifts are anticipated. Please note that access to Letson Farms Parkway from New Bell Hill Road will remain temporarily closed while the final sanitary sewer manhole height is adjusted and the concrete island construction wraps up. The contractor is also building a retaining wall at Pediatrics West.
The final phases of the project will include permanent road striping, installation of permanent signs, right-of-way markers, and detectable warning devices to ensure compliance with sidewalk regulations.
We appreciate the community's continued patience with this work! Please follow the County's social media channels for any detours or temporary closures.
