SRJ has 0 positive inmate COVID-19 cases

1700 formerly positive COVID-19 inmates have completely recovered and are still in custody.

To date, 3 inmates have been admitted to the hospital due to complications from COVID-19. Of this number, 0 currently remain hospitalized.

Staff and Contractor Statistics:

SRJ has 1 current positive staff/contractor cases. There has been a total of 685 staff/contractor cases of COVID-19, and 684 have recovered.
Note: Staff members and/or contractors who test positive may not return to work until cleared pursuant to CDC Guidelines. The Staff/contractor COVID-positive case numbers are based upon staff/contractor self-reported and in-house test results. The actual COVID-positive case rate may be higher, and the data is accurate only as of the time of posting.

There are 5 RED inmates and 0 DARK RED inmate housed in either OPHU, HU 3 F and 21E. Red patients include both patients with COVID-19 symptoms awaiting test results and patients with positive COVID-19 results. (For a description of the SRJ patient color-coding system please see the Outbreak Control Plan.) Red patients will be released individually from OPHU, HU 3F when cleared by medical. Yellow housing units and/or pods are listed below. Quarantines in these housing units and/or pods will remain in effect until the date listed, which is a date 10 days after the index patient presented with symptoms, or sooner if the index case’s test results come back negative.
HU 21 F: N/A (These housing unit is designated for yellow inmates with known exposure to a COVID-19 positive person; inmates are released from quarantine on individual dates)
HU 31 DEF: Yellow Quarantine due to Dark Red Medical. Subject to serial testing.
