I-10 overpass at Riggs Road scheduled to close overnight March 18

The Arizona Department of Transportation advises drivers to plan for the following Interstate 10 overpass closure south of Phoenix for maintenance work:

• Westbound Riggs Road will be closed over I-10 from 9 p.m. Monday, March 18, to 4 a.m. Tuesday, March 19. 
  • Drivers exiting I-10 westbound will not be able to turn left onto Riggs Road.
  • DETOUR: Drivers may consider taking Queen Creek Road to State Route 347 as an alternate route.

NOTE: The I-10 on- and off-ramps at Riggs Road will remain open.

ADOT advises drivers to slow down and use caution at all times around construction personnel and equipment in all work zones.
