Notice of Intent
Notice is hereby given that the Office of State Lands and Investments (OSLI) has submitted a Notice of Intent to Adopt Rules and Regulations for Chapter 29 - Sage Grouse Mitigation Credits. The proposed rule is intended to establish the compensatory mitigation credit system for the conservation of greater sage-grouse as required by House Enrolled Act 0086 of the 2020 Wyoming Legislative Session.
A copy of the rule is available for review on the Secretary of State's website at rules.wyo.gov or by contacting the OSLI office located at 122 W. 25th Street, Herschler Building 1W, Cheyenne, WY 82002.
Interested persons may present their comments or suggestions on the proposed rule by submitting written comments at Attention: Jason Crowder, Office Of State Lands and Investments, 122 W. 25th Street, Herschler Building 1W, Cheyenne, WY 82002 or email at jason.crowder@wyo.gov. The public comment period will end at 5 p.m. on July 28, 2020.
This rule is expected to be considered at the August 6, 2020 Board of Land Commissioners meeting, which is open to the public.
