Work to be done: Update the Dell Chassis firmware and OS. Also perform switch software upgrades to alleviate two current issues that ETS is experiencing.

Customer Impact: Customers should not experience any outage as this work is performed.

Duration: 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM (Approx.) or until work is completed.

Status: Rescheduled Single Agency for AGO

Work to be done: Second attempt to convert Attorney General’s server named AGSQL from P to V server.

Customer Impact: Customers in AGO will not be able to use WestKM program until the work is completed. This date and time was requested by AGO staff.

Duration: 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM (Approx.) or until work is completed.

Status: New Single Agency Request for DCI

Work to be done: Move the DCI WySOR production database files to a new logical partition on the same server.

Customer Impact: Customers will not be able to use WySOR application until work is completed. This work has been requested by and coordinated with DCI Staff and DCI vendor AiC.

Duration: Approximately 30 minutes within the one hour window.

Status: New Non-Routine Request for ETS

Work to be done: IPL the Mainframe to adjust clock from Mountain Standard Time to Mountain Daylight Time.

Customer Impact: The Mainframe will be unavailable for approximately 15 minutes during the IPL. The Mainframe will then be set to Mountain Daylight Time (MDT).

Duration: Approximately 15 minutes downtime during the 2 hour window.

Status: New Routine Request for ETS

Work to be done: Push the latest HTS code from test to production. Copy HTS production system to development system.

Customer Impact: During the maintenance window, WEN customers and ETS employees will not be able to access the HTS system. They will not be able to view, add, or update HTS tickets. After maintenance, new features will be available to customers and staff.

Status: New Single Agency Request for Park School Dist. # 1

Work to be done: Migrate Park County School District # 1 from their existing DS3 connection onto the new 500 Mbps MoE.

Customer Impact: Park County School District # 1 will have limited network connectivity (no external connectivity) while the maintenance is being performed. Routing will be updated to reflect the changes. This work date and time was requested by and coordinated with the Park County School District # 1 technical director Mike Reed.

Status: New Single Agency Request for Casper Veteran’s Museum (WMD)

Work to be done: Replace the current switch at Veteran’s Museum with a Cisco 3560 and connect to MoE circuit; and transition users onto the MoE.

Customer Impact: Casper Veteran’s Museum users will be offline for the outage. The work will affect only the Veteran’s Museum. The work date and time was requested by and coordinated with the VM employees and Field Services Andy Smith.

 Work Activity Beginning Monday, March 10-13, 2014 (10:00 AM to 5:00 PM)

Work to be done: Periodic maintenance of the air units and the UPS’s located in the Herschler Data Center; and maintenance on DCI’s RCs.

Customer Impact: No customer impact is expected.

Duration: Work may or may not require all three days. The time shown will be the work window for each day as required.

Work to be done: Update the ESX hosts that make up the LIQ cluster.

Customer Impact: There is no customer impact expected.

Duration: 2 hours

 Recurring Weekly Maintenance Work Activities

Work to be done: Network Maintenance, Upgrades, and Patching.

Customer Impact: Customers should not be impacted during the work period.

Monday mornings from 2:00 AM to 6:00 AM, as needed, and continuing until removed from the recurring work section.

Work to be done: Install patches and updates on ETS managed servers during work windows on Sunday 5:00 AM to 7:00 AM and/or Tuesday 4:00 AM to 6:00 AM.

Customer Impact: ETS managed enterprise customers will not have the services managed by these servers available during this time.

Work to be done: IPL (Initial Program Load) expected duration of 15 minutes or less during the Tuesday 4:00 AM to 6:00 AM work window.

Customer Impact: Affects Mainframe customers during IPL and anyone who needs Mainframe access during this time as the Mainframe will not be available.

Duration: 15-30 minutes

Status: Recurring Work for WYDOT

Work to be done: Perform WYDOT database maintenance to include: file reorders, field length changes, adding superdescriptors, renaming or renumbering files, creating a new file, adding a new field, adding descriptors, releasing descriptors, releasing superdescriptors, and restoring natural programs.

Customer Impact: This work has been arranged and scheduled by the customer, and fully coordinated with ETS Mainframe staff and WYDOT IT personnel.

Duration: This work will be performed from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM, and continue every Saturday (as needed) until such time as removed from the recurring work section.

Status: Recurring Work for DFS

Work to be done: Install updates, patches, and perform normal maintenance on Dept. of Family Services (DFS) POSSE/WYCAPS.

Customer Impact: Servers and Systems will be unavailable for the duration of the work period. This work affects only DFS.

Duration: This work will occur every third (3rd) weekend from 7:00 AM on Saturday until Noon on the following Sunday (as needed) until such time as removed from the recurring work section.

Status: New Single Agency Recurring Request for WDE

Work to be done: Apply all critical Microsoft patches to all Dept. of Education (WDE) servers; and update firmware on Equalogic Storage Arrays.

Customer Impact: All websites, databases, and servers will be unavailable during this work process.

Duration: 4 hours each Thursday from 7:00 PM to 11:00 PM, and continuing until removed from the recurring work section.

Status: Recurring Single Agency Request for DOC

 

Work to be done: Reboot the WCIS server CORR-WebFocus using task scheduler.

Customer Impact: This work affects only users at Dept. of Corrections. System will be unavailable for approximately 3 minutes during the reboot.

Duration: Every Sunday at 1:00 AM. Reboot should only cause a 3 minute interruption, but server may be down longer for testing, and/or other maintenance. Technical staff will advise DOC if this occurs.
