SUN Bucks is Live in Wyoming!
This week 36,538 children were automatically enrolled in SUN Bucks. We are taking applications now for children who were not automatically enrolled, but may still be eligible. The enrollment period ends August 31, 2026.
Eligibility notices started going out this week by email and mail (if no email is on file). Due to the large volume, notices will continue to send through next week. Please watch your mail and check your Spam folder. To check your child’s enrollment status, visit our web page and click on Check eligibility and apply for SUN Bucks, then click on "Check Enrollment Status" at the bottom of the page. You may need to try more than one option under the “Would you like to check by” drop-down in the Check Enrollment Status tool to successfully verify enrollment in our system.
Who may need to apply?
Most eligible school age children will be automatically enrolled in SUN Bucks through an existing National School Lunch Program free and reduced meals application or participation in SNAP, POWER, Kid Care CHIP, or Medicaid. Some children may still be eligible and need to apply. You may need to apply if your child does not participate in any of the above programs, you have household income below 185% of the federal poverty level (FPL), and your child attends a special provision school that feeds all children free meals through the National School Lunch Program (NSLP).
How do I update my address?
If you moved recently (in the last year), we may have an outdated address on file. You may reply directly to your emailed eligibility notice to update your address or call the Customer Service Center at 307-777-8SUN (307-777-8786).
When will SUN Bucks cards arrive?
