The Wyoming Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ), the Office of State Lands and Investments (OSLI), and the Wyoming Water Development Office (WDO) will hold a public meeting to discuss the draft fiscal year 2026 Intended Use Plans for the Drinking Water State Revolving Fund (DWSRF) and the Clean Water State Revolving Fund (CWSRF). The meeting is scheduled for Thursday, April 17, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. at the Wyoming Department of Environmental Quality, 2nd Floor Conference Room 211, Cheyenne, Wyoming. The Intended Use Plans identify the intended uses of the funds available through the CWSRF and DWSRF programs during the upcoming fiscal year. The purpose of the public meeting is to solicit public comments prior to the finalization of the Intended Use Plans.
The draft plans contain ranked lists of publicly owned drinking water, wastewater, and non-point source water pollution control projects. The CWSRF and DWSRF programs provide low-interest loans for the construction of these types of projects. The inclusion of projects in the plans is important because it makes these projects eligible to apply for DWSRF or CWSRF funding. Projects that do not appear on these plans are not eligible to apply for loans from these programs. Public entities with projects that may qualify are encouraged to notify DEQ or WDO. The draft plans rank potential projects based upon several factors. These include addressing public health issues, resolving compliance issues, and correcting system deficiencies.
