The Wyoming Water and Waste Advisory Board (WWAB) will meet on March 26, 2025, at 9:00 a.m. virtually via Zoom and in person at the Thyra Thomson Building, Turntable Room, 444 West Collins Dr., Casper, WY 82601, to consider revisions to Water Quality Rules, Chapter 28, Standards for Issuing Permits for Commercial Oilfield Waste Disposal Facilities. The proposed Chapter 28 revisions (1) add a new passage to specify notification requirements for existing leak detection standards for consistency with current practice; (2) clarify freeboard design requirements; (3) narrow and clarify the applicability of public notice requirements to streamline the process for permittees and for consistency with other Water Quality Programs; (4) update incorporation by reference materials to incorporate new versions of materials, as appropriate; and (5) correct formatting and numbering throughout the chapter.
