Public Meeting: Buffalo Tank Project, Buffalo, WY

The Town of the City of Buffalo, Wyoming, will conduct a public meeting at 5:00 p.m., on October 1, 2024, in the City Council chambers at City Hall, 46 N Main, Buffalo, Wyoming. The purpose of the meeting is to allow citizens to review and comment on the following project:

City of Buffalo Water Tank Repair Project – replacing ceiling structural steel and repainting a 600,000-gallong water storage tank both inside and outside.

At the meeting, the Town of the City of Buffalo, Wyoming will present the preliminary design of the proposed project and will discuss the estimated cost of the improvements and the plan for funding the improvements. A preliminary plan of improvements, cost estimates, and the funding plan can also be reviewed at City Hall, 46 N Main, Buffalo, Wyoming. Contact Kevin Silbernagel at (307) 217-2333.

Based on current cost estimates, the Town of the City of Buffalo, Wyoming plans to borrow $600,000 from the Wyoming Drinking Water State Revolving Loan Fund administered by the Wyoming Office of State Lands and Investments. Capital improvement reserves will repay the loan. Loan terms will be .75% interest rate and 10 years.
