The Wyoming Nonpoint Source Program Now Accepting Applications for FY24 Clean Water Act Section 319 and Section 205(j) Grants
Applications Due October 4, 2023, at 5:00 PM MST
The Nonpoint Source Program of the Wyoming Department of Environmental Quality, Water Quality Division is pleased to announce that it is now accepting project applications for the federal fiscal year 2024 (FY2024) Clean Water Act Section 319 and 205(j) grants.
The CWA Section 319 and 205(j) grants support locally-led, voluntary projects that address nonpoint sources of pollution to Wyoming’s surface and groundwater. Project applications are reviewed and recommended through an annual competitive process. Section 319 grant funds primarily support “on-the-ground” watershed restoration or protection projects. Section 205(j) grant funds support water quality management planning projects sponsored by local planning agencies (i.e., cities, towns, counties, and conservation districts).
To review full details on grant requirements, available funding, project and sponsor eligibility, and application guidelines, and to download the required application forms, please visit the “Grant Resources” tab on the Nonpoint Source Program website. Please be sure to access and complete the correct forms. Applications submitted on past years’ forms will not be accepted.
