The Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ) Solid Waste Permitting and Corrective Action Program is hosting a virtual and in-person Municipal Solid Waste Landfill Operator Manager Training Session on March 30, 2023. The in-person option will be held at the DEQ Casper Office. Registration is required for participation in these training sessions.
Participants will gain the fundamental knowledge and background necessary to ensure landfills are
operated in a manner that is protective of human health and the environment. At the end of the training
participants will be given the opportunity to sign up for the DEQ’s Operator and Manager Exams. This training will be offered again in August at the Annual WSWRA Conference. As a reminder, all exams are online.
