Public Notice: SRF Public Meeting Notice: Town of Lusk Infrastructure Improvements Phase 2

NOTICE OF PUBLIC MEETING

The TOWN OF LUSK, Wyoming, will conduct a public meeting on Monday March 29, 2021, Phase II Meeting at 6:00 p.m. local time. The meeting will be held at the Lusk Auditorium.   Zoom Meeting Link: https://us02web.zoom.us/j/84931663396?pwd=ZjVLNmdRT3pTcTVHR0trRkFjb1BtUT09

The purpose of the meeting is to allow citizens to review and comment on the following project TOWN OF LUSK PHASE II STREET AND UTILITY REPLACEMENT PROJECT.

 

At the meeting, the Town of Lusk will present the preliminary limits and scope of the proposed project and will discuss the estimated costs of the Phase II improvements and the plan for funding the improvements. A preliminary plan of improvements limits, cost estimates, and the funding plan can also be reviewed at Town of Lusk Town hall or at the office of AVI, pc. Based on current Phase II cost estimates, the Town of Lusk plans to apply for a loan of $4,840,000 from the Wyoming Clean Water, $4,910,000 from the Drinking Water State Revolving Loan Fund, and Capital Construction Loan $3,070,000 administered by the Wyoming Office of State Lands and Investments. The 6th penny sales tax along with system user fees will also be applied toward loan payments.

Increased user fees will repay the loan. The average rate increase is estimated to be $20.00 month per user to repay the loan with the 6th penny tax. Loan terms are anticipated to be 2.5% interest rate for a 30 year period.
