NOTICE OF SOLICITATIONS FOR PROFESSIONAL SERVICES

In accordance with W.S. 9-2-1030, the Wyoming Department of Environmental Quality, Solid & Hazardous Waste Division, Landfill Remediation Program (LRP), hereby provides notice that it will be initiating professional services consultant selection on approximately September 1, 2020, for the Guernsey Landfill Remediation Project. The project will involve investigation of the nature and extent of contamination, design of an interim remedial measure consisting of a flexible membrane liner cap, assessment of corrective measures/remedial options, design of other remedies if warranted, administration of construction contracts, operation and maintenance of remedies, and monitoring of the site and remedies. The LRP will send out a request for statements of interest to all firms on the LRP list of prequalified consultants when it initiates selection of a consultant for this project. Only prequalified consultants will be allowed to submit statements of interest.

In accordance with W.S. 9-2-1030, the Wyoming Department of Environmental Quality, Solid & Hazardous Waste Division, Landfill Remediation Program (LRP), hereby provides notice that it will be initiating professional services consultant selection on approximately September 1, 2020, for Landfill Remediation Scoping Project #2. The project will involve monitor well installations, groundwater sampling and testing, statistical analysis, waste delineation, and associated reporting.  The LRP will send out a request for statements of interest to all firms on the LRP list of prequalified consultants, as well as other firms that so request, when it initiates selection of a consultant for this project. Both prequalified and other potentially qualified consultants will be allowed to submit statements of interest.

In accordance with W.S. 9-2-1030, the LRP also hereby provides notice that prequalification for professional engineering services is ongoing for LRP projects. LRP projects address contamination caused by landfills. In general, services for LRP projects involve investigation of sites, design of remedial alternative(s), construction management, operation and maintenance, and decommissioning. On-site personnel must have 40-hour HAZWOPER training with current 8-hour refresher course. Minimum insurance includes $1 million errors & omissions and $2 million general liability. To be considered for prequalification, a firm must submit a Statement of Qualifications (SOQ). The submittal package and instructions can be found at deq.wyoming.gov/shwd/solid-waste/ by clicking on “Landfill Remediation Program” and “Prequalification Information” under the “Resources” heading. SOQs can be submitted at any time.
